I am still numb on this Sunday evening...
Friday morning David and I had dental appointments.. we went David decided to take the day off and do some shopping for the bedroom remodel...
I went on to work, talked to him a few times, he picked me up for lunch and then traveled on to Home Depot, Lowe's and Sam's...
He did not find what he was looking for, so we decided to head to
Lindale after I got off work to
Lowes' as they have everything that we need and it is a better friendlier store...
It was a little after 6:00 pm when my cell phone rang it was my brother in a panic telling me to hurry to Mom (who lives in
Lindale). My family has so much drama going on everyday, that I was not sure what had happened, but was not expecting to hear what he said.
I asked what is going on? he told me that both my Mom and Sister found my nephew, Josh dead in my Mom's bedroom. That they were both so out of it, that we needed to get there as quickly as possible.
I was numb!!! I knew that my Nephew had been a troubled soul for so long, but you never expect a healthy 25 year old to die.
Without going into all the nights and wee hours of the morning details, it was the worst thing, I mean the worst thing I ever had to do but to walk into my own Mom's home...
My Mom had been at my niece's house for the most part of the week helping her out with her little girl... but that she had a sinking feeling that something was not right.. so she called my sister and the thing she calls her husband, to come and pick her up.
When they arrived home, Mom and my sister found him... the coroner had told me that he had been gone for a couple of days. My poor sister and mom had to walk into that scene that I am sure they will never be able to get over.
We started calling family to gather around them, mom went on and on about how she should have been home, that she could have stopped it from happening, that Josh was taking so many different
meds that DOCTOR'S were giving him.
Josh is bipolar, but was not taking the
meds for that, but had been suffering with Asthma flair ups and was on his
prednazone for that, and it made him stay wired and up for days at a time. So he took Valium,
Xanax and a couple of others. My mom tried to tell him over and over not to take so much
meds (which he was abusing as well) he told her he would be
Ok.
We are not sure if it was accidental or what. My sister is fixated on it being murder, that he had so much more
meds than what the sheriff's department took with them.
She is feeling so much guilt as they were not getting along for a while now, for the fact of the man she married has totally alienated her from her family, and she is somewhat addicted to some kind of wild drugs that they are shooting up. she and Josh had a big fall out at Thanksgiving and she told him she hated him. She had not talked to him since.
You can only imagine that guilt of a mother to have no closure and to have found him the way she did and have that image to live with for the rest of her life. It hurts me down to the core with the suffering she is going through...
They are telling us it could be up to a week, before they get his body back before she can bury him. They think it was accidental since they did not find a suicide note.
I am asking for all of you to stand fast with my family in prayer that God will see her through this and bring her the much needed peace, that she will need to pull through. I know that God is a loving God, and if we just turn to him, he will turn this tragedy into the good of him.
I am sure this next week will bring many tears... I can only believe that my sister will turn back and lean on God's loving and forgiving shoulder and allow him to comfort her from this point on.
Rest in Peace my nephew Joshuah Arron. You will be missed and loved always....
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by.
