Here are a few pic's of our time in Arlington with the kids... There is nothing like the love of a child... no matter how old they get!! :)
Life's not all bad. Look into somebody's eyes, you'll see that they're a person just like you, they also have good and bad feelings, hopes and dreams, good and bad days, ups and downs, and hopefully, most days in their world something or someone, makes them smile! and then they know, the world is a better place because they are a part of it!! Welcome to my world!

Callie's 22nd birthday!
Here are a few pic's of our time in Arlington with the kids... There is nothing like the love of a child... no matter how old they get!! :)
Sorry, been away to long...
I am sorry that I have not posted in a while... trying to get back to some kind of normal... way too much to back track... so let's just say things are better than they were , and hope to be better down the road...
Thanks for all your prayers and emails... it meant allot... My Mom is still visiting my brother in Longview, however, she is spending a couple of days with her sister, my aunt Jean... My sister, well she is doing better under the circumstances... keep her in your prayers... I know God will bring her through!!!
I had a nice Valentine's day... my sweetie took me to Coyote Sam's in Tyler it is a bar and grill, had a good time, food was great and live music...
The bedroom remodel is coming along slowly... did not get to work on it for a couple of weeks, as you all know...
I hosted my entire family the day of Josh's funeral, hated to have all of them in the midst of the mess, but hey they are family...
David started back up on it this past weekend... he took all the wall studs out and now you can tell how it will layout...
I am excited about Grey's tonight... the previews really looked great... I think this season is the best one yet...
Tomorrow is FRIDAY... and Scrapbook night is back around... always look forward to that... I am going to post some pic's this weekend of past pages... afterwards, my best friend and I are going out for dinner and drinks... can't wait for that... David is going to a truck show, so no need to hurry home...
Saturday, we are headed to Tyler to do some running around. need to measure a king size bed for the master suite... I need to see where it will end up, so that we will know where to put the new lights and ceiling fan... Then we are off to my old stomping ground, Chapel Hill High School, were we are watching my cousin's Cliff's daughter Caitlin perform with the Highlighters Spring program... then out to their place for a bit...
Next weekend we are off to Arlington to see the kids to celebrate Casey's birthday a little early... that is the weekend before hand... I believe we are going to eat at The Trail Dust Saloon... going to eat a little, drink a Little and boot scoot allot!! HEE HAA!!!
We did go up back on January 31 st to celebrate Callie's birthday... I am posting a few pic's of that occasion... had fun as usual... love my kids...
Well, better close for now, as Greys will be on in a bit...
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by!

A Friday like any other... became a Friday like no other...
I am still numb on this Sunday evening...
Friday morning David and I had dental appointments.. we went David decided to take the day off and do some shopping for the bedroom remodel...
I went on to work, talked to him a few times, he picked me up for lunch and then traveled on to Home Depot, Lowe's and Sam's...
He did not find what he was looking for, so we decided to head to Lindale after I got off work to Lowes' as they have everything that we need and it is a better friendlier store...
It was a little after 6:00 pm when my cell phone rang it was my brother in a panic telling me to hurry to Mom (who lives in Lindale). My family has so much drama going on everyday, that I was not sure what had happened, but was not expecting to hear what he said.
I asked what is going on? he told me that both my Mom and Sister found my nephew, Josh dead in my Mom's bedroom. That they were both so out of it, that we needed to get there as quickly as possible.
I was numb!!! I knew that my Nephew had been a troubled soul for so long, but you never expect a healthy 25 year old to die.
Without going into all the nights and wee hours of the morning details, it was the worst thing, I mean the worst thing I ever had to do but to walk into my own Mom's home...
My Mom had been at my niece's house for the most part of the week helping her out with her little girl... but that she had a sinking feeling that something was not right.. so she called my sister and the thing she calls her husband, to come and pick her up.
When they arrived home, Mom and my sister found him... the coroner had told me that he had been gone for a couple of days. My poor sister and mom had to walk into that scene that I am sure they will never be able to get over.
We started calling family to gather around them, mom went on and on about how she should have been home, that she could have stopped it from happening, that Josh was taking so many different meds that DOCTOR'S were giving him.
Josh is bipolar, but was not taking the meds for that, but had been suffering with Asthma flair ups and was on his prednazone for that, and it made him stay wired and up for days at a time. So he took Valium, Xanax and a couple of others. My mom tried to tell him over and over not to take so much meds (which he was abusing as well) he told her he would be Ok.
We are not sure if it was accidental or what. My sister is fixated on it being murder, that he had so much more meds than what the sheriff's department took with them.
She is feeling so much guilt as they were not getting along for a while now, for the fact of the man she married has totally alienated her from her family, and she is somewhat addicted to some kind of wild drugs that they are shooting up. she and Josh had a big fall out at Thanksgiving and she told him she hated him. She had not talked to him since.
You can only imagine that guilt of a mother to have no closure and to have found him the way she did and have that image to live with for the rest of her life. It hurts me down to the core with the suffering she is going through...
They are telling us it could be up to a week, before they get his body back before she can bury him. They think it was accidental since they did not find a suicide note.
I am asking for all of you to stand fast with my family in prayer that God will see her through this and bring her the much needed peace, that she will need to pull through. I know that God is a loving God, and if we just turn to him, he will turn this tragedy into the good of him.
I am sure this next week will bring many tears... I can only believe that my sister will turn back and lean on God's loving and forgiving shoulder and allow him to comfort her from this point on.
Rest in Peace my nephew Joshuah Arron. You will be missed and loved always....
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by.

Way too much going on!
Hello to all in my world... I have been so very busy, with work, house chores and that little annoyance called re-modeling!!!!!!!
I want to be finished with this already... the dirt around my house is killing me...
I want to give a shout out to Grammie Annette... her little Grandson is the neatest!!! really loved seeing all the new pics!!!
I have enjoyed this past week, as I had scrapbook night Friday night... always love that... had three great layouts... I will share if they are not buried under a ton of dirt when the dust settles tonight haha...
I went to my Godson's 7th birthday party yesterday... I will upload a few pics later..
I so hate that yet another weekend has flown by... back to Monday once again!... I am looking forward to Tuesday- I get my hair done... and it is Callie's (future someday daughter) birthday...
We are going up to spend this weekend with them, along with Debbie ( her Mom) really looking forward to that ... we are all going out to eat and then we are celebrating at a dueling piano bar in Fort Worth... that will be a hoot!
Well, guess I better get my shower and settle in for the night as 5:00 am comes soon enough...
Hugs to all in my world...thanks for stopping by!!

Man, where did this week go???
I can not believe we are more than two weeks into the new year! it is going by faster and faster...
Not a lot going on in my world to speak as of now... just been busy working and coming home and working... never ending cycle, it seems...
I can tell you I am on a diet... so ready to get healthier, and need not to waste anymore time thinking about it. David and I have both agreed, that we need to do something now before we get any older... and I know that the kids will be getting married at some point, and when I look back at photos, I don't want to be dwelling on my weight....
Have been lazy today, just sitting around watching movies... made a crock pot of taco soup, and fresh veggies and fruit tray... so far so good. Not had a single coke in two days now, believe me that is a feat within itself. haha..
Back at work tomorrow, looking forward to next weekend, as Casey will be coming home Sunday night for a night, but anytime with him is great time spent... He is off on MLK day and will be going to the eye doctor and then he and I will have lunch before he head backs to Arlington...
Scrap booking class is on the 23 always look forward to those, I still need to post some of my pages, I promise I will soon.
Callie's 22 birthday is coming up on the 27Th, David and I along with her Mom Debbie, are planning on going up next weekend or the next to spend time with her.. she is wanting to take all of us to a dueling piano bar in Forth Worth to celebrate... I am sure we will have a blast...
Well, better get supper going, as 24 starts back up tonight, FINALLY!!!! love that show... and need to try and motivate myself to get ready for another Monday...

Vacation's over!
I am so sad... :( I have got to go back to work tomorrow! Time flies by when you are off enjoying life...
This weekend ended as quite as it started... David and I went to First Monday this morning for a few hours IT WAS COLD!! a few months back I had picked up some plates for my plate holder in my kitchen.. where I thought I had a 3 tier rack, it was a 4, well went back that next month and they had no more... so I thought I would make a bow for the bottom part to hide the rack, until today we ended up at a new spot and they had the same plates, so I picked that up ...
I mainly went to visit a booth called across my heart, she is a lady that makes beautiful crosses out of broken plates and such, well she was not there, however, I did come across a 3 D wooden cross that I have had my eye on for the past 3-4 months, the price was good, so I got it too.. guess I will have to go back next month for my 1-2 crosses to finish out my wall...
I am so dreading going back to work, I know that I will be buried in catch up stuff most of the day, and the weather is supposed to be bad... 39 for the high, and 60% chance of rain... YUCK!
I wish I could stay home just one more day... well, just 5 more days until the weekend.... hahaha..
It is back to the bedroom remodel, we will be knocking walls out by weekend... I need to start picking out a wall color, as that will take a while to decided on...
Well, I am going to make some hot coco and sit by the fire and catch up with the newspaper ads, until bed...
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by!

Out with the Old, In with the New!
Well, another year has passed... can you believe how the years fly by??
All the decorations were taken down Tuesday night.. got finished around midnight... went to bed, David got up went to work New Year's Eve, I cleaned, cleaned cleaned... the house looks so nice... I cooked a little bit, David got home around 6:30 got a shower, ate a bite and conked out at 8 PM... LOL!
I let him nap, as I munched, cuddled by the fireplace watching movies... it was very quite compared to New Year's Eve's of past... but it was really nice, to just ring in this new year peacefully.... David woke up long enough to get my new year's kiss in and then off to bed we went...
January 1, 2009 was just as lazy... we sat around and watched TV and napped all day.. no cleaning house, doing laundry, taking down Christmas decor, decided to let the bedroom remodel wait as well... just a quite lazy day...
Well, today, David is back to work and I am moving slowly....drinking coffee and on the computer... thought about heading to First Monday, but really did not want to get out!
It is so nice to have the entire house to myself ( and everything done)... going to kick back and watch movies the rest of the day, as David will probably want to get back to the remodeling this weekend... Man, I will be so glad when it is all finished...
The kids are headed to Roscoe, to have their Christmas with Callie's family... then it is back to the real world on Monday...
Going to make the most of it, as I am not sure when I will have time off again! COME ON LOTTO!!! LOL
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by!
