David's new "Black Beauty"

Hello all...

David FINALLY, saved enough money to purchase the truck of his dreams...This beauty has EVERYTHING... I am so proud for him... he has sit back over the past 14 years and allowed for myself and Casey to have the new rides... well, now it is his turn... this is a 09 GMC Sierra 3500 4X4 duramax diesel with extras like: Leather seats, sunroof, remote key less entry and starter, navigation system (no more fighting over me not being able to read a map:0) back up camera, and so much more...

He has been searching for months and has only found a handful of them.. well last Saturday, after spending most of the day on the Internet, I finally found one, he did not want to call on it, as he was afraid he would not be able to afford it.. I picked up the phone and dialed and forced him to... he is so happy I made him... it was all want he wanted and much more for an unbeatable price... so we loaded up Sunday, heading to Arlington and spent a couple of hours looking at it... the dealership was closed....

Well, he called back this past Monday 6-15-09 and struck a deal he could live with... went up that afternoon and picked that bad boy up! You should have seen his face taking the keys... like a kid on Christmas Morning.... it took almost an hour for the salesman to show all the bells and whistles... we programed On star on the way home, made a phone call to the in-laws and listened to XM radio all the way back... Fun Fun Fun! Pulling our travel trailer should be a breeze now.... can't wait until our first road trip... (hopefully to Branson this August)....

OK, I have been so bad... not blogged in over three months!! does not seem that long...
allot going on... the bedroom remodel? you ask.... is still going on... :(
David and I have made a pact... we are coming in every night after work and "hitting" it... or we will never get finished....

Need to get the tanning bed up and running again, as I look like a cotton ball.... hahaha....


It is official now... my Son is getting married to the sweetest girl, Callie... May 22, 2010. It will be held at the Fort Worth Botanical Japanese Gardens... this place is the most amazing site... it is HUGE!!! it will be the most beautiful wedding this family has ever seen, by far.... as you can tell from these pics... I can not wait... the planning is going to be so fun!!

The kids are moving in August to this new place... it is gorgeous! they will be so much more happier here... it is only a couple of exits from where they are now... but it has allot to offer... I will have more pics on move in day!

I promise to blog more often.... I have so missed sharing my life with you all... until next time....
