Life's not all bad. Look into somebody's eyes, you'll see that they're a person just like you, they also have good and bad feelings, hopes and dreams, good and bad days, ups and downs, and hopefully, most days in their world something or someone, makes them smile! and then they know, the world is a better place because they are a part of it!! Welcome to my world!

Vacation 2009
I thought I better jot down what we did on vacation, before I forgot....
After 4 years, we finally got to take a trip in the ole RV! and after about $3 grand on repairs.... still did not keep us from going!!! We had to replace the AC, oven and ending up putting new tires all around it up in Bull Shoals.... I still have to say, IT WAS WORTH IT....
We have been going to Branson, MS for almost 26 years now... we so love going there. This year we made a stop off in Bull Shoals, AR first, where I got to spend a little time (not enough) with my oldest and dearest friend, Karla... we go all the way back to grade school... it was such a joy to see her again after all these years! ... it was such a hoot to go back and relive childhood memories...
When she met us at the door, it was like I was a kid again... I was so giddy and it was like we had never had a break in our friendship during these past 15 years!!!
Her husband, Darrell, is a sweetie... I can see why she loves him so much... you can tell they are genuine sweethearts.. Lauren, her daughter, is a cutie pie! I had so much fun sitting and laughing over her flippin High School talk.... :)
Karla, had Daiquiris blended up, they were yummo... we sat and caught up for a while, then she and Darrell took us for a tour of the beautiful Bull Shoals AR area.... our first stop was to see the redneck yacht that they own... it was awesome... the lake it is docked at is really nice... we even saw deer right out side their house... beauty everywhere...
After taking a look around the town, we headed to a nice little restaurant and had a really good chicken dinner. Then it was back to their house to visit the night away...
The next morning, she surprised us with a visit, at the state park we were staying at, along with her Mom and Dad, it was great to have seen them after all these years.
Then her little not so little brother, Kirk along with his family stopped by too.
Darrell came by after his rehab visit to see us off... I really wished we had two weeks on this trip we could have stayed several more days, but I promise we will be making more stops in Bull Shoals..
Our next stop was Branson. The place had changed once again since our visit 4 years ago... we had a blast. By this time I had the start of a head cold, but it did not slow me down too much...
Our shows included in this trip, a new one, called Broadway... I loved it, David liked it... it was a musical tribute to the shows they perform in NY... I chose this one, David chose to go back and see Kirby's magic show... he had changed it up since we seen him 8 years ago... we had great seats at both shows, however, David got to be a part of the Kirby show, as he was chosen to help out... it was fun, fun, fun...
We also visited the new Titanic exhibit... it was awesome!!! it was a self guided tour, you could rent out speakers and listen to the man that played the captain in the movie... 2 for 5$ well worth it... we were there for almost 3 hours taking our time and really learning the history.... I would suggest if you ever visit Branson, must see attraction...
We did allot of shopping, we headed down to Branson Landing, a new addition since our last visit. I loved the village motif feeling, that it had... allot of neat shops, including Brighton (love that store) where I spent a good bit of an hour buying me some bling bling... haha...
Kirkland home is another at the top of my favs... I went nuts in that store... did not buy anything, don't have too, I just loved seeing all of it...
David bought a new pair of sandals at the Bass Pro shop... that was a neat store as well...
Then we hit a couple of outlet malls, I LOVE THE STORES IN BRANSON... especially the Coach outlet, where I purchased a couple of new handbags for myself...
We hit up the kitchen outlets too, got some neat stuff there as well... David hit a few stores he liked and picked up some goodies...
Then Saturday rolled around, as David hit up the car show, I took a break at the camper, just me and the girls... Grayce and Maggie (our little people dogs) lol...
David got back and we hit the strip for one last day of shopping... headed to my favorite Christmas Stores where I purchased my new dept 56 items, and some Christmas decor... then it was off to the best winery, in my opinion... Stone Hill...
I loaded up with a case of my favs, then we headed out to eat a bite, then off to the midnight cruise! they close down the street at midnight and all the cars that were at the Shepard of the Hills car exhibit, gets to "drag the strip"
it was fun to watch all of them.... we left there around 1:30 am, and dragged the strip for a bit, before heading back to the RV..
Sunday rolled around way too soon, as David and I were having such a great time, the week just flew by... back home we headed and crashed!!!
Best vacation we have had in years!! I just love it when it is just the two of us... we don't have to wait on anyone, we come and go as we please and have some really good times! ;)
Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by!!
