Callie's 22nd birthday!

Here are a few pic's of our time in Arlington with the kids... There is nothing like the love of a child... no matter how old they get!! :)

Sorry, been away to long...

I am sorry that I have not posted in a while... trying to get back to some kind of normal... way too much to back track... so let's just say things are better than they were , and hope to be better down the road...

Thanks for all your prayers and emails... it meant allot... My Mom is still visiting my brother in Longview, however, she is spending a couple of days with her sister, my aunt Jean... My sister, well she is doing better under the circumstances... keep her in your prayers... I know God will bring her through!!!

I had a nice Valentine's day... my sweetie took me to Coyote Sam's in Tyler it is a bar and grill, had a good time, food was great and live music...

The bedroom remodel is coming along slowly... did not get to work on it for a couple of weeks, as you all know...

I hosted my entire family the day of Josh's funeral, hated to have all of them in the midst of the mess, but hey they are family...

David started back up on it this past weekend... he took all the wall studs out and now you can tell how it will layout...

I am excited about Grey's tonight... the previews really looked great... I think this season is the best one yet...

Tomorrow is FRIDAY... and Scrapbook night is back around... always look forward to that... I am going to post some pic's this weekend of past pages... afterwards, my best friend and I are going out for dinner and drinks... can't wait for that... David is going to a truck show, so no need to hurry home...

Saturday, we are headed to Tyler to do some running around. need to measure a king size bed for the master suite... I need to see where it will end up, so that we will know where to put the new lights and ceiling fan... Then we are off to my old stomping ground, Chapel Hill High School, were we are watching my cousin's Cliff's daughter Caitlin perform with the Highlighters Spring program... then out to their place for a bit...

Next weekend we are off to Arlington to see the kids to celebrate Casey's birthday a little early... that is the weekend before hand... I believe we are going to eat at The Trail Dust Saloon... going to eat a little, drink a Little and boot scoot allot!! HEE HAA!!!

We did go up back on January 31 st to celebrate Callie's birthday... I am posting a few pic's of that occasion... had fun as usual... love my kids...

Well, better close for now, as Greys will be on in a bit...

Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by!

A Friday like any other... became a Friday like no other...

I am still numb on this Sunday evening...

Friday morning David and I had dental appointments.. we went David decided to take the day off and do some shopping for the bedroom remodel...

I went on to work, talked to him a few times, he picked me up for lunch and then traveled on to Home Depot, Lowe's and Sam's...

He did not find what he was looking for, so we decided to head to Lindale after I got off work to Lowes' as they have everything that we need and it is a better friendlier store...

It was a little after 6:00 pm when my cell phone rang it was my brother in a panic telling me to hurry to Mom (who lives in Lindale). My family has so much drama going on everyday, that I was not sure what had happened, but was not expecting to hear what he said.

I asked what is going on? he told me that both my Mom and Sister found my nephew, Josh dead in my Mom's bedroom. That they were both so out of it, that we needed to get there as quickly as possible.

I was numb!!! I knew that my Nephew had been a troubled soul for so long, but you never expect a healthy 25 year old to die.

Without going into all the nights and wee hours of the morning details, it was the worst thing, I mean the worst thing I ever had to do but to walk into my own Mom's home...

My Mom had been at my niece's house for the most part of the week helping her out with her little girl... but that she had a sinking feeling that something was not right.. so she called my sister and the thing she calls her husband, to come and pick her up.

When they arrived home, Mom and my sister found him... the coroner had told me that he had been gone for a couple of days. My poor sister and mom had to walk into that scene that I am sure they will never be able to get over.

We started calling family to gather around them, mom went on and on about how she should have been home, that she could have stopped it from happening, that Josh was taking so many different meds that DOCTOR'S were giving him.

Josh is bipolar, but was not taking the meds for that, but had been suffering with Asthma flair ups and was on his prednazone for that, and it made him stay wired and up for days at a time. So he took Valium, Xanax and a couple of others. My mom tried to tell him over and over not to take so much meds (which he was abusing as well) he told her he would be Ok.

We are not sure if it was accidental or what. My sister is fixated on it being murder, that he had so much more meds than what the sheriff's department took with them.
She is feeling so much guilt as they were not getting along for a while now, for the fact of the man she married has totally alienated her from her family, and she is somewhat addicted to some kind of wild drugs that they are shooting up. she and Josh had a big fall out at Thanksgiving and she told him she hated him. She had not talked to him since.

You can only imagine that guilt of a mother to have no closure and to have found him the way she did and have that image to live with for the rest of her life. It hurts me down to the core with the suffering she is going through...

They are telling us it could be up to a week, before they get his body back before she can bury him. They think it was accidental since they did not find a suicide note.

I am asking for all of you to stand fast with my family in prayer that God will see her through this and bring her the much needed peace, that she will need to pull through. I know that God is a loving God, and if we just turn to him, he will turn this tragedy into the good of him.

I am sure this next week will bring many tears... I can only believe that my sister will turn back and lean on God's loving and forgiving shoulder and allow him to comfort her from this point on.

Rest in Peace my nephew Joshuah Arron. You will be missed and loved always....

Hugs to all in my world... thanks for stopping by.
